4 am - out the door, off to Hainan Island for another race weekend covering Formula E. It’s been an interesting couple of weeks covering Hong Kong and Sanya back to back for Formula E’s Global partner, Julius Baer.
Hong Kong experienced a wet weekend with plenty of spills, Sanya was 40 degrees trackside with high humidity. A brand new race for the tropical Island dubbed the “Hawaii of China” located in Haitang Bay.
Race days are always hectic, especially Formula E. Practice sessions, qualifying, super pole, then the race, all in one day! It’s GO! GO! GO! from 6 am until lights out in the media center. You are literally running to and from the track, to the laptop, upload, edit, deliver and then back out on track for the next session. It’s full-on, fast-paced and exciting. Enjoy the images.
A special thanks to all that make it happen, a truly professional team and great people to work with at Julius Bear.
